The benches provide a platform for sitting and lying down, and their design and materials directly relate to user safety.
- Design and Size: Common designs include straight and L-shaped benches. The size usually determines the capacity; for example, a 1.8m x 1.8m size can accommodate multiple people.
- Materials: Must use wood that can withstand high temperatures and humidity, such as Canadian red cedar, hemlock, or Nordic pine. These woods are less prone to deformation and cracking, and their surfaces do not easily burn the skin at high temperatures. A single solid wood bench can weigh up to 30 kilograms to ensure stability.
3. Control Panel
The control panel is used to operate the sauna.
- Basic Functions: Smart control panels can set parameters such as temperature and time.
- Smart Features: Some solutions use smart modules (such as replacing traditional mechanical timers) to enable mobile app remote control, custom programs, and temperature monitoring, while still retaining a physical safety switch.
The heater provides the heat source, the benches ensure basic safety and comfort, and the control panel enables operation. These three components together determine the basic functionality and reliability of the outdoor steam sauna.
