Can I Bring My Phone To A Sauna?

Leave a message

You are not allowed to bring my phone to a sauna. The average temperature in a sauna is between 38 and 42 degrees Celsius, and can even reach 45 to 60 degrees Celsius. It's an enclosed indoor space. As delicate electronic devices, phones are prone to the following problems when exposed to high temperatures:

‌Distortion of the screen‌: High temperatures can cause changes in the material of the phone screen, leading to distortion and, in severe cases, shortening the screen's lifespan.

‌Battery aging and explosion‌: High temperatures can cause instantaneous discharge of mobile phone batteries, generating large amounts of current. This not only accelerates battery aging but can also cause explosions, posing a serious threat to personal safety.

‌Damage to internal components‌: High temperatures can also damage other components within the phone, such as deformation of the plastic casing and leaking seals, affecting normal use.

‌Sweat damage‌: People sweat profusely in a sauna. Hand sweat soaking your phone can cause poor receiver sound quality, slow response times, and frequent freezes.
